When it comes to raising awareness and spreading the word about Scotwest and its products, services & benefits, the help current members play proves invaluable.
What can I do to help?
- You can help by distributing Scotwest leaflets, posters and membership applications - these can be displayed in workplaces (canteens, staff rooms, noticeboards), community centres, libraries - indeed anywhere where people will notice them.
Even putting one poster up on a notice board would help. Simply complete a Promotional Material Request Form here and we will send material out to you.
- You can chat to your colleagues, friends, family and neighbours about Scotwest and the benefits which you feel membership brings to you. This personal experience and recommendation makes all the difference when someone is considering joining. We can tell how easy it is to save and the benefits of saving - you have the experience of the holiday you saved for, the stress free Christmas or the new car!
- You could invite Scotwest to staff induction days, awards ceremonies, training seminars, community group meetings, parents meeting - any event where we can speak to a group of people who live or work in the West of Scotland.
These type of events allow us to raise awareness and distribute information. Even if there is no space on the agenda, we can provide information for you to distribute or can come along with our information stand over tea and lunch breaks.
- If you work for one of our select employers, you can ask us to visit your workplace with our information stand allowing us the chance to provide information and answer any questions about membership, loan applications and savings accounts which you or your colleagues may have. Simply complete a Site Visit Request here.
- You could volunteer to become a workplace representative for your work location or consider becoming an elected officer.
