To be able to open a FutureSave Account a parent, relative or guardian needs to be (or will need to become) a Scotwest member.

Find out more about membership.

As you're under 16, you'll need to have an account trustee. This person can be a parent, relative or guardian. They can then help you set up and operate your account until you become 16 and can apply to open one of our adult savings accounts.  Remember though that all of the money in the account is yours, your trustee will just help you to manage it.

Your trustee will help you pay into the account by making payments from their own Scotwest account, bank or building society or by sending in cheques or making deposits using their debit card.  If you need any money out they will help you to get it.

As a reward for saving with us, we’ll pay you interest on your savings at the end of every three months (March, June, September and December) giving you that little bit extra for your money.
