On Monday this week, we hosted our annual visit from our main regulator: the PRA. They met with our CEO and myself in the afternoon and then addressed the full Board in the evening. As usual the visit challenged us on our vision and plans for the future but we were satisfied that we gave a good account of ourselves.
At the Board meeting itself, we noted that one of our Directors, John McCarthy, has resigned due to work commitments and we would like to thank him for his service and contribution to the governance of our credit union. We also approved a response to the UK Government’s “Help to Save” consultation and agreed that forecasted dividend rates for the 3 months commencing 1st July are likely to remaining unchanged.
Yours in co-operation
David McRiner
