At Scotwest, we are committed to improving the lives of our Members and to help improve our communities.

The Scotwest Community Awards offers grants of up to £2000 to organisations to recognise and support the work they do in their local communities either in improving the local environment or providing support and opportunities to local people.

Nominations can be made by Scotwest Members using the form below for any group, charity or individual looking for funding to help with a specific project, from building work to purchasing equipment or funding events or trips. Applications for funding for general running costs or to  form part of a larger fund will not be accepted. You can find advice on completing funding applications here.

Applications will be considered on a quarterly basis from a panel made up of Scotwest staff meeting in December, March, June and September. All applicants will be advised of the outcome of their applications.

  • Between £500-£2000
  • This should be for a specific purpose whether for a project, an item or an event rather than for general running costs. Please give details of who will benefit from the project or activity and include as much information as possible. If the grant is to fund an event, please give the date(s), age range and anticipated attendance and a breakdown of costs if possible.
  • Nominated organisations and nominating members must agree to participate in publicity before any awards are made. How would the you or the organisation propose publicising the award of this grant? (The Scotwest Marketing Team will be happy to liaise regarding publicity)
