We are delighted to welcome Spruce Carpets of Glasgow as the latest employer to offer savings and loans from Scotwest through payroll deduction for their employees.
Spruce Carpets has been providing high-quality affordable flooring since 2005. They offer high quality end of roll/surplus carpets and vinyl as well as new carpets and vinyl. Doing this means they provide training and work experience opportunities for people who have found themselves excluded from the job market.
They have close relationships with manufacturers and wholesalers in the carpet industry who donate surplus, damaged or end-of-line stock that Spruce Carpets offer at affordable prices helping to reduce the amount of waste that the carpet industry would otherwise have sent to landfill. Working with a range of flooring and facilities management contractors, they supply refurbished carpet tiles that would otherwise be sent to landfill before the end of their useful life.
They also manufacture rugs and runners from carpet ends at their showroom in Broomloan Road in Govan, Glasgow. They also have their own fitters and delivery vehicles.
