As part of Monday night’s meeting we received reports from and held discussions with our new internal auditors, our compliance officer and a governance consultant. Your Board believes that Scotwest has a very robust governance structure and one of the underpinning factors behind that is our commitment to subject it to continuous review and improvement.
We also agreed that this year’s AGM will be held on Monday 27 November 6.30pm in the Trades House of Glasgow, 85 Glassford Street, Glasgow, G1 1UH. We hope that you will be able to join us, however, if you are unable to attend the meeting it will also be streamed online (details nearer the time).
Our Christmas Savings account will pay out in the second week of November and with 3,000 members saving over £2 million this year alone, once again Scotwest members have demonstrated their financial savvy in preparation for the festive season.
