A “hot topic” at last night’s Board meeting was the recent worldwide ransomware attack, which affected organisations of all shapes ands sizes including the NHS. The controls we have in place meant that we were not affected but we still considered it worthwhile to discuss our on-going commitment and efforts to ensure that members data remains secure.
We also agreed to appoint new internal auditors with affect from 1st October and discussed the forthcoming annual supervisory visit from the PRA.
