At last night’s Board meeting we approved the 2016/17 annual financial statements in preparation for the forthcoming AGM. This year’s AGM will be held on Monday 27 November at 18:30 in the Trades Hall, 85 Glassford Street, Glasgow, G1 1UH and the Board would encourage you to attend and participate in the running of your credit union. (Don’t worry, you won’t get “volunteered” for anything!).
The Scotwest Lottery AGM will be held immediately after (around 19:15).

At the meeting, we also received four reports from internal audit and discussed last week’s Bank of England base rate increase. As a result of that discussion, we agreed that we would not be changing any of our interest rates at present.
