We are pleased to announce the latest Scotwest Community Award is Woodhill Evangelical Church. The award will pay for the installation of a defibrillator outside the church which is based in a busy residential area of Bishopbriggs.

The church was nominated by Scotwest Member Karen Prenty who said “The church is rooted in the community with a café and activity groups for toddlers, craft groups, lunch clubs and more. Everyone in the area knows where the church is, and having this facility available to the public will be an important addition to the area.

Adele Trainer of the church said “We are delighted to have been granted this Scotwest Award for the installation of the defibrillator. In addition to the hundreds of people of all ages and fitness levels in and around the church building itself, we are situated on a busy road for traffic, pedestrians and joggers and with a primary school and supported living flats close by it will be a comfort to the everyone in the community that this equipment will be nearby”.
