Lorna McAndie
Lorna joined Scotwest in 2025 and was co-opted to the Board in October 2025.
Lorna has over 20 years experience in procurement and commercial management roles with a variety of global organisations such as Barclays Bank, Tesco Bank, M&G and more. She has a passion for building and leading teams and developing businesses across financials services, professional services and the public sector.
Why did you want to serve as a Director?
“I am looking forward to being involved in shaping the strategy of scotwest going forwards and building on the good work done by the board to date. I have previously been focussed on Commercial and procurement areas within finance and my work on the board should open me up to other areas of the business and widen my skills”.
What have you gained from taking up this position?
“Being part of a team of Directors and senior staff striving to keep Scotwest working for its members and moving forward in a difficult financial climate, has given me a greater understanding of the financial services sector in general and the workings of the credit union sector in particular.”
