Scotwest announces its new Chief Executive Officer

The Scotwest Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Frances McCann as Scotwest’s new Chief Executive Officer.

Frances has been undertaking the role on an acting basis since July 2018. Prior to that she served as Scotwest’s Chief Operating Officer and previously carried out the role of Compliance and Risk Officer.

Scotwest Chair David McRiner said “The Directors are pleased with the success Frances has had in her capacity as Acting CEO and after an internal recruitment process were delighted to offer her the role on a permanent basis. We and everyone at the credit union wish her the very best as she continues with the successful growth of Scotwest.”

Frances said “I am delighted to be appointed as the CEO of Scotwest and I look forward to this opportunity to serve our Members across the west of Scotland.”
